Benefits and Eligibility

The State of Wisconsin has a long history of providing generous benefits, programs and services to state residents who entered active duty from Wisconsin and continue to reside in the state. These benefits, programs and services are provided by the State to supplement and complement those provided to veterans by the federal government.

Celebrating our Veterans

DSC_0177 Meet Mike. Mike Hert is a volunteer with Valley VNA that has served 5 tours to Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa. Mike continues to give back to his country by his unwavering dedication to the veterans in our community.   Our goal for 2016 is to establish a Veterans support group for anyone in our community that would like to come, talk and be together with other Veterans, facilitated by Mike.

IMG_3976Each year we celebrate Veterans Day with a program for our community to pay tribute and honor those Veterans that live among us. This is a great group of Veterans in 2015!

Veterans Program Kicks off May 2016

We are excited to be planning a monthly Veterans Program for our residents, clients, families and our community.  This group will come together lead by volunteer Veterans to give each other support and comradery.

More to come for this program, our Memorial Day Program, and Veterans Day program for 2016!
