Valley VNA's In Home Care

Companion Service - The Companion service provides one-on-one socialization and life enriching activities at home and out and about.

Homemaker Companion - Provides socialization, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders, errands and transportation to appointments.

Personal Care Worker - Assistance with personal cares and all Homemaker Companion services provided. 

Overnight & Respite Care - Allows family caregivers to get their rest and provides respite/short -term assistance at home (i.e., post hospitalization, hospice assistance, caregiver on vacation, etc.)

RN Home Visit - Valley VNA's nurses can provide individual assistance, including foot care, medication set-up, and more.

HomeMaids - HomeMaids has been providing residential housecleaning for over 15 years. Customized cleaning plans available weekly, every other week, monthly or one-time.

Valley VNA's Senior Living Community

Independent Senior Apartments/Independent Plus Apartments - 32 one or two bedroom apartments where residents live independently or receive some assistance.

Assisted Living - 60 private studios and suites offering residents daily assistance. Special memory care settings.

Focus on Alzheimer's Disease/Dementia ...

Valley VNA's Care for Persons with Alzheimer's Disease or Other Dementias

If you live at home, our caregivers have dementia specific training:

  • Caregivers have access to the Valley VNA Life Enrichment Library which enables them to provide one-on-one activities tailored to the individual client's interests and abilities.
  • In Home Care clients are able to attend activities at Valley VNA including exercise programs and social events specifically designed for people with dementia.
  • Our Life Enrichment Library has activities and materials designed for the changing needs of people with dementia.

If you live with us, two separate areas of living based upon individual need are offered:

  • 20 suites are home to those experiencing the early stages of Alzheimer's or dementia. A high staff-to-resident ratio in a 24-hour care setting ensures residents receive high-quality compassionate care, as their needs change.
  • 16 suites cater to people who have progressed to moderate or advanced stages of Alzheimer's and dementia.  With an even higher staff-to-resident ratio, these residents will receive the specialized care they deserve. Residents are engaged in daily life-enhancing activities designed for different levels of ability. Electronic monitoring is available if needed for the senior's personal safety.
