Doris Andre
Dec. 6-12 is National Influenza Vaccination Week. If you haven’t already, Doris Andre, reminds you to get your flu shot this winter! If you’ve attended one of our flu clinics, you have probably met Doris, our flu clinic nurse.
Doris has been a nurse in our community for more than 45 years. She worked at Theda Clark in Neenah for 25 years, and has been working at Valley VNA for the past 20 years in various roles.
When Doris began working at Valley VNA, her job was to help set up in-home care with each new client. Then she transitioned into her current role working with our wellness programs, including foot care, blood pressure and flu clinics.
Doris appreciates the opportunity to go out into our communities and help people with our wellness programs. She has enjoyed her time visiting the Oshkosh Seniors Center, Neenah-Menasha YMCA, Highlands at Mahler Park in Neenah and other community locations.
Doris has been blessed with four children and nine grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with all of them.
If you meet Doris at one of our clinics, you will feel warmed by her smile and sense of humor. We are blessed to have Doris and many other nurses at Valley VNA who share what they love and do best, care for people.
