How can I help?

There are a variety of ways you can help.  Through an interview process, we will try to match your interests with those of our seniors. 

Opportunities include:

• Assist in activities such as Bingo and other games, arts and crafts projects, cooking.
• Baking and decorating cookies.
• Reminiscing with seniors.
• Gardening
• Assisting with the Alzheimer's Association "Memories in the Making" program.
• Sharing music through piano playing, school & church choirs, instrument practice, etc.
• Facilitate religious activities such as Bible study and praying the rosary.

How do I become a volunteer?

Interested volunteers are asked to complete an application.  Once we receive your completed application, we will contact you for an interview and discuss your interests, time availability and any talents you may want to share. 

Prior to volunteering, all perspective volunteers are required to have reference/background checks and attend our orientation/training session.

We value our volunteers' gifts of time.  Their dedication is greatly appreciated by our seniors and their families.
