Personal Care Attendant

For seniors who need a little more assistance, Personal Care Attendants offer all the services available through our Homemaker Companion program, plus provide personal cares. Based on individual needs, care may include assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming nails and hair, toileting, exercising, assistance with walking or wheelchair transferring.

Personal Care Attendants have completed specialized training, similar to a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Care is customized to your needs, and may include such items as:

• BATH SERVICE - We'll prepare the bath or shower, assist with bathing and drying, and help you get dressed . . . and clean up the bathroom.
  
  
• RISE & SHINE/ FLUFF & TUCK - We'll come by each day to help get your morning started, and then return later to assist with your evening needs.
  
  
• HOUSE-CALL VISIT - This 15-minute visit focuses on quick tasks like medication reminders, administering eye drops, putting on support stockings, safety checks and more.
  
  
• 24-HOUR ASSISTANCE - Caregivers will assist you around the clock in the comfort of your own home.
  
  
• APPOINTMENT TAXI - If you are ambulatory and need transportation to appointments, we can pick you up, stay with you during your appointment, and return you home.
