Our Meals-On-Wheels program provides a hot, home-delivered meal to seniors living within the city limits of Neenah and Menasha. Nutritious meals are delivered by a network of friendly volunteers Monday through Friday during the noon hour. Valley VNA coordinates the Meals-On-Wheels in partnership with the Neenah-Menasha Emergency Society.  We purchase the meals through ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah who cooks and prepares the meals for transport.

Options and Solutions Program

The Options and Solutions program helps seniors and their families sort through information and services that are available, finding solutions to their individual situation. For seniors, it’s about balancing their desire for independence with support for any needs they have. For families, it’s about peace of mind and a sense of security.

With the Options and Solutions program you work with a trustworthy and knowledgeable RN who will listen to you and give you recommendations on the options available.

Advanced Planning

Advanced Care Planning is all about ensuring you get the healthcare you want, at any time, in the event you are unable to make decisions for yourself. If you don’t make these choices, you are leaving these decisions to the medical providers who do not know you, or your family who is struggling with emotions and fears at this difficult time. When you complete Advanced Care Planning you are giving your family a gift; taking the burden of guessing what you would want, and providing the peace in knowing your wishes are being followed at such a critical time in your life. Advance Care planning should start when you turn 18 years old.  The document will change through your life as it changes.

Advanced Care Planning can be a difficult and personally challenging process for some; even just to get started. At Valley VNA we have trained facilitators that can help you begin the process. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about Advanced Care Planning.
