Meet Gabrielle

Oshkosh is my hometown where I was born and raised with my three sisters, me being the second oldest. In the summer we would go for the long six hour car trip to visit my great Aunt and Uncle who lived in Herbster.  They never had kids so they had fun when we came to visit and stay at their home on Lake Superior.   Our family has seen a wolf and a bear by the cabin and we all had to be quiet.

Wanting to be a nurse, I was trained and became a C.N.A.  I started full time at the Valley VNA when I was pregnant with my daughter Aubrie.  My nursing school was still my goal so I attended part-time while working.  I’ve been a team lead for the last 2-3 years with my five year anniversary coming up in February.  The 12 hour shifts are nice and worked out well for me and Aubrie. I really like working at the Valley VNA, we all care for each other and the residents.  Even my older sister Ariann works here with me.   Now that Aubrie is 4 years old, I’ve started going to school full-time and working more part-time.  Two more years to go before I graduate!   We live in Berlin and Aubrie loves horses, especially Firecracker, Sadie and Speedy.  We have lots of family that live on farms, so we see all kinds of animals including our yellow lab Ace. Aubrie and I love to watch Beauty & the Beast together and sing Firework by Katie Perry when we are in the car.  We have fun hunting and camping together and making s’mores. When I ask Aubrie what she wants to be when she grows up she says a Fire Fighter, Doctor and Veterinarian. Gotta love it! My favorite shows to watch are Greys Anatomy and The Good Doctor.  I play volleyball in the summer and love to be outside.  Aubrie and I are saving up our pennies and will someday go to Disney World together!
